We had a working Cassandra backup (6 nodes) in a production VPC.  Recently DBA’s added “DR nodes” from a different DC as part of the cluster.  Now the backup is picking up all nodes and failing.  Is there away to restrict what nodes we will be backing up?  Basically nodes from dc1 are porduction and dc2 are DR.  we only want to backup dc1.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Hi @ChuckC , thanks for the thread!

Confirm that you have auto discover enabled (which would try adding in all of the nodes it sees):
