Hi, I’m currently having a HyperScale X2.2 configure with two bonds (one DP, one SP) I will need to add another one, on a different network to create a DIP. What is the best way ? On the Linux prompt ./cvnwlacpbond.py -c -m 802.3ad -t sp -i 172.19.80.201 -f enpsf7 enps11 -n 255.255.255.0 ? Is it going to be an SP network or it needs to be and DP network or ? There is no default gateway on this network !

Hey @Marco Lachance,

I’m not sure this is what you want to do - sounds like you need a bond alias created, which is a virtual ‘sub-interface’ that attaches to an existing ‘physical’ bond for the purposes of accessing a different network range without needing to traverse a gateway etc.

That being said, I’m not sure on the right commands to do so or if the article above is the correct way, will reach out to some folks and get the right detail for you!

We definitely want to attach to the DP bond.

Thanks @Damian Andre ,

But we are actually having  6 NIC card: 2 for Bond0 DP, 2 for Bond1 SP and the last 2 one needs to be configured for Bond3 for DP on a dedicated network for some specific physical server ? I may have not been clear in my first post  , so how should I create/configured the last pair of NIC/Bond3.

Thank you again,
