Our company use 1 MA on each site, they have 4 sites.
each physical MA has some dedup Databases.
We plan a hardware refresh with 2 MA on each site (gridstor mode) in the same we plan to migrate our backup storage from DAS to NAS.
What is the better approach to perform the refresh with less complexity
- build the new MAs
- move Index and DDB to the new MA
- connect new Storage libraries to the new MA
- On existing Storage policies, create a synchronous copy that point the the new MA and new libraries
- promote the secondary copy to primary
- decommission the old MA
