Does Commvault support vStorage APIs for Array Integration (VAAI) with Netapp datastores?

Commvault does not use vStorage APIs for Array Integration (VAAI) for backup or restore operations with NetApp datastores.

Supported Commvault Features for NetApp Datastores:

  • IntelliSnap for hardware snapshots
  • NDMP for NAS backups
  • VADP for VM backups
