Hi Team,

Has anyone tried the VM level threat scan ?

Does anyone have a file to infect the VM or a video related to testing treat scan level VM?

Thanks

We haven't, yet. It is on our roadmap to try it out. Currently only still supported for VMware. Other platforms are in the making. Unfortunately there is no demo video of it to be found on the Internet.

In case the database files are protected via a VM backup it will indeed be scanned when you enable Threatscan on it.

Hi @Onno van den Berg

No, for databases we backed up with an agent, will they be scanned with treatscan?

No, as far as I'm aware this will only scan files either through a FS backup or supported VM backup.

Couple of resources to consider in Readiverse

  1. Threat Scan course (SaaS - but some relevant concepts for Software)
  2. Threat Scan hands-on guide (FS, but gives you a general feel for configuration and running a job)

Hi @TomasK. Officially this is not supported, yet. However, I would be surprised if the next release that should arrive this month is still lacking it. Right now only VMware is supported.

on the workflow i have configured in the “vaulLibraries” the name of my primary library, name from the plan - storage policy.
