Unable to add Hyper-V to Hypervisor

Hi team,

We recently set up a trial version of Commvault 11.32.54 on a Hyper-V guest machine. When we attempting to add Hyper-V host (which the guest machine located in) in web console, it shows “Something went wrong. Please check the log for details”.

We have installed VSA on both commserve and Hyper V host, and the Hyper V account that is used for authenticate is a part of the “Hyper V Administrators” group.

How can we pinpoint the misconfiguration causing this issue?

Hi @TOM GTI ,

 

This seems to be an issue where we might need to review the logs to find out the cause of the issue to propose the resolution.

I would suggest you to open a ticket with Support team to get this reviewed.

We discovered that the issue pertained to login credentials, where local domain is missed before the username.
