Hello everyone,

I’ve to configure several VLANs on 12 HSX 3.2.

I’d like to know if I can do it through a script that uses nmcli or simple copy a predefined ifcfg-ethX/bondX configuration files?

Thanks and regards

Hi @Ivan Galli

Thank you for reaching out.

Are these new servers to be configured, or already configured and need to be converted?

Assuming they’re new based on our documentation, you can achieve this during initial setup.

This is available on both Appliance and Reference Architecture..

Hi, these are new server. There’s only os installed.

Since there are a lot of vlans it would be easier create network configuration via nmcli instead GUI setup.

Thanks and regards

Thanks @Ivan Galli nmcli is not supported out of the box as it will affect other integrated services, also It would be easier to use the HSX installer to configure multiple VLANs , is there are reason why we need to use nmcli?

Also do we know how many VLANs we’re trying to configure ? total and per interface?

Thank you

Hi, because I’ve to configure 23 VLANs for every node and there are 12 HSX node.
