Hyperscale X on ESXi for Lab

Dear All, 

 

I am trying to build a HyperScale X Lab in our office. I am using sp40_13_hsx_prod_dvd_09152025_061956.iso it is failing on Creating Building Storage Configuration. Please assist.

Hi ​@Deep 

I've noticed you've only got one drive which is less than 240GB for the metadrive.

Can you re-try with having 2x drives for your Meta Drives (2x120 will suffice)? The rest looks fine to proceed for the purpose of a testing lab.

You can open a case with support and provide the screenshot of /var/log/hyperscale.log and /var/log/bmr.log from the node where the storage initialization failed to assist you further

Now I am able to complete the installation. But it is stuck at following screen

I am running this environment on ESXi 8.x Platform. as this is for LAB environment I dont know if support Team will take incident and will support me

Seems like the installation is complete. Press Alt+F2 and see whether you are getting the login prompt.
