+1Hi, I have a customer who is undergoing a cloud transformation.
They currently have a 6-node HyperScale X cluster with approximately 40 % used it with long-term retention. The goal is to migrate all long-term retention to Metallic and reduce the number of nodes from 6 to 3 in order to use the evacuated nodes and create another cluster in another site.
Is this easily achievable?

Marco - we understand your requirement, and we have heard similar requests in the past from other users. It is already in our roadmap.
Good afternoon. This would not be easily achievable and is not a documented process. I would recommend opening a case with our SDS team and they in turn could reach out to Development to see if this is something that they would work on via escalation.
