I am going to have to do a migration from RHeL to Rocky Linux.

There has been documentation for this sporadically but ultimately this gets removed and I have had confirmation that this will be possible with similar process to UEFI.

I have emailed the migration support but so far not had a response. I need to start planning this in shortly so if anyone has any experience that would be great

Hi @AdamD

Can you please create a support case if the required info. is not available in Doc. link so that support can check all details and suggest steps/recommendations as its a migration scenario

Hello @AdamD,

Nodes with legacy BIOS + NVMe are not supported by the automated script these require manual migration or support assistance.

So, if you want to know the process you can check the following article.

===

Subject: Manual Migration of Systems Without NVMe Boot Support

Link: https://documentation.commvault.com/2023e/essential/manual_migration_of_systems_without_nvme_boot_support.html

For further assistance, you can raise a case with support or get in touch with your SAM/ TAM.
