We're writing to give you a heads up that we have begun an iterative, Community-wide project focused on improving the site organization and our category taxonomy. In short, you’ll see us cleaning up, re-categorizing, and properly tagging topics — both open and closed — to improve the overall structure and health of the community.
What’s Happening?
- We're reviewing and occasionally archiving outdated or redundant threads - and moving some that make more sense in another category.
- This process helps improve searchability, relevance, and overall user experience.
- You might receive occasional alerts or notifications regarding threads you have participated in or are following. Feel free to ignore these.
- We will not delete threads in this process, so don’t worry about any content being lost.
What Should You Expect?
- Temporary notifications related to thread status updates.
- Some threads may be archived or consolidated for clarity.
What Actions Do Community Members Need to Take?
- Nothing is required
- Feel free to join in if you want to mark answers on any open topics or suggest any for moving or consolidation. Or ping us with any other suggestions or questions - just drop me or Jenn a DM.
Why This Matters
A well-maintained forum ensures greater discoverability and access to accurate information, reduces noise, helps our moderators better resolve new or open topics, and fosters better collaboration—including for our highly technical user base.
