This FAQ document will guide you through the platform, answering common questions about access, exams, certifications, and more. We encourage you to explore the Readiverse Community forums (this space) further for the most up-to-date information and resources related to educational content.

 

 

What is the Commvault Readiverse?

 

The Readiverse is Commvault's comprehensive learning platform, designed to empower our customers and partners with the knowledge and skills needed to be successful and resilient with Commvault solutions. As we continue to expand, the Readiverse will offer a wide range of resources, including courses, learning paths, certifications, and digital badges. Think of it as your one-stop shop for all Commvault education.

 

Accessing the Readiverse Portal

 

Q: How do I access the new Readiverse portal?

Accessing the Readiverse is simple! If you are a customer, access the Readiverse portal using the link here.

Partners access here or through the Partner Portal. 

You will need a Commvault account to log in. (More on that below.)

 

Q: What if I don’t have a Commvault account already?

You can sign-up for a Commvault account using this link or by clicking on “Register for access” on the Readiverse login page. You will need your CommCell ID or Tenant ID to register for a Commvault account.

Note: If you are logged in to the Community, you should be able to use the same credentials to access the Readiverse portal.

 

Q: I'm having trouble logging in. What should I do?

If you are experiencing login issues, check that you are using the correct credentials. If the problem persists, please contact Enablement Help or post a new topic here in the Readiverse forums for assistance.

 

Partner Access and Partner University Transition

Please note the full transition from Partner University to the new partner Readiverse portal is complete as of April 2025.

 

Q: I am a Commvault Partner, how should I access the Readiverse?

The partner version of the Readiverse is live. (Note: it is a different URL than the customer version.) Access remains through your Commvault Partner Portal credentials or you can access directly here

 

Q: What happened to Partner University?

The legacy Partner University was retired March 31, 2025. If you had trainings or certifications in progress or need help, contact us.

 

Exams and Certifications

 

Q: How do I register for an exam?

You can register for exams directly through the Readiverse portal. This portal will be your go-to portal for all formal training and learning content.

 

Q: What should I do if I don't receive my Readiverse badge after completing my training?

Commvault uses Credly to issue badges. In the new Readiverse portal, receiving badges should take just a few minutes. (Our old system required manual processing that could take up to two days for individuals who completed their training before January.) If the Readiverse badge does not appear within an hour, please check your spam or junk folders. Should the badge still be missing after 24 hours, email Enablement Help for assistance.

You may also sign up for a Credly account using the same email address as your Commvault account to see your badges.

 

Q: Can I retake an exam if I do not pass the first time?

Yes, you can retake an exam if you fail. Most courses have more than one attempt and will allow a retry. If you run out of attempts, contact Enablement Help.

 

Q: How do I find information about Commvault certifications?

Details about Commvault certifications can be found on the Readiverse portal.

Q: Where can I find my certification status and digital badges?


You can find your certification status on your respective Readiverse portal. If you receive a badge through Credly, you can log in through Credly to obtain them. It should be associated with your training account email address.

 

Q: How do I claim or download my digital badge?

To claim or download your digital badge, log in to Credly using your training account email address. For detailed instructions on how to download your badge certificate and additional information, please follow the steps provided at this Link.

 

Q: How can I locate my older certifications or transcripts?

If you are looking for your older certifications and your transcript is not yet migrated, shoot an email over to Enablement Help, and they should be able to retrieve them for you.

 

Q: How can I pay for certifications and exams that require payment?

For now, use the Purchase Order option. Someone from our team will reach out to guide you on purchasing training credits. In the future, we plan to offer credit card transactions in $USD to streamline payment.

 

Learning Resources and Content

 

Q: Where can I find Commvault training courses?

Update: we have added course catalogs here in the Community for your convenience. Click below.
 

 

All Commvault training courses are also available on the Readiverse portals. You can browse there by topic, product, or certification track.

 

Q: What are Learning Paths?

Learning Paths are structured collections of courses designed to guide you toward specific skills or certifications. They provide a recommended sequence of learning for optimal knowledge acquisition.

 

Q: Are there any free learning resources available?

Absolutely! Commvault provides a variety of free learning opportunities, including short videos known as “Readiverse Snacks,” comprehensive courses, and even the Cyber Resilience Certification, which is available at no cost.

 

Q: I can't find the specific learning content I'm looking for. What should I do?

Use the search functionality within the Readiverse portal to locate specific content. If you still can't find it, please post a topic here in the Readiverse forums and we’ll assist.

 

Q: How do I suggest a future training course, topic, or improvement to existing content?

We’d love to hear your feedback as we continue to grow the Readiverse and our courses. Please open a new topic (“Conversation”) right here in the Readiverse forums and encourage others to join the conversation as well.

Q: Who should I contact if I have other questions or need further assistance?

For any questions or issues related to the Readiverse platform, please post a topic here in the Community’s Readiverse forums. You can search for answers, post questions, or request assistance from the Readiverse team.
