fairly new to Metallic so bear with me please.
text files logs are being created in c:\windows\temp and are on a Azure vm with the Metallic file server agent installed, i was wondering if anyone had a idea of what is generating these logs, a service or other.

I have seen this issue previously and believe there is a patch available to address it.
Please open a support case and provide the client details. They should issue the patch (if it is the same issue) directly, until it is deployed globally.(client needs to be updated to latest 3401.15)
