Hi
Request to review the Data fore cast report to understand the reason for Jobs still retained in storage and
a list of common aging reasons and their meanings can be found here:
https://documentation.commvault.com/v11/commcell-console/data_aging_troubleshooting.html
1. Data Retention Forecast and Compliance Report (CommCell Console)
This report helps you understand why jobs are not aging and what is preventing data from being pruned.
Steps:
- Open the CommCell Console.
- Go to the Reports tab.
- Select Other Reports, then Forecast.
- In the General tab, select Show data retained beyond basic days retention only.
- Go to the Storage Policy tab:
- Deselect the top-level "Storage Policies" checkbox.
- Select only the policies relevant to your library.
- Click Run.
- Review the report, focusing on the Reason for not Aging column to see why jobs are not being pruned.
