Question

I deleted all users from OneDrive to free up space on Metallic Backup, but the console shows 0 users and 196.7 GB of data.

Why does the console show 196.7 GB of data? I'd like to delete that data from OneDrive to free up space.

Hi @Wilson BIG ,

Could you try the below steps to check if any Deleted from Content user is leftover.

  1. Login to Metallic Console using Admin credentials.
  2. Go to Protect→ M365→ Select and click on your OneDrive App,
  3. From “User” Tab  (Next to overview Tab), you may find the list of users or Empty page (as you have marked all users as deleted/removed)
  4. From Status Column add a filter by selecting “Deleted from content, and  Excluded from backup”. And save.
  5. This should show any leftover user which is removed but their inactive data is still available as backup.
  6. If you find any such user, please manually delete them if not needed from backup.

NOTE: Delete operation can not be reverted, so kindly crosscheck any data/user before processing the delete operation.

If still the issue persists, or you do not find any user/data on the above, you may raise a support ticket with Commvault for further investigation on such issues.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Pratik
