I have a customer asking for integrating SaaS with service now. Sending alerts from SaaS to SNOW. I know the docs that describe this integration that we have are just for MSP. Could someone please help me out with what the web hook configuration needs to look like to send to snow?

Good Day @Satyam Sourav,

I understand that you’re using Commvault Cloud SaaS (formerly Metallic.io) and would like to integrate ServiceNow so it can receive important alerts when backup or data protection operations fail/succeed, as well as capture audit information.

If that’s the goal, yes—this is fully supported. You can configure ServiceNow integration using an SIEM connector, which can be set up either as a Webhook or a Syslog server depending on your requirements.

You can find the setup steps here:

• Webhook SIEM Connector:
https://documentation.commvault.com/saas/adding_siem_connector_for_webhook.html

• Syslog SIEM Connector:
https://documentation.commvault.com/saas/adding_siem_connector_for_syslog_server.html

Hope this points you in the right direction. Let us know if you have any other questions!
