Hello community,
I have a customer that uses Metallic (I know Commvault Cloud… :-) ) and they are asking if Metallic backs up the SharePoint retention tags/labels of SharePoint objects. They heavily use those and before implementing they want to make sure they are protected and restored with the object.
I looked everywhere and just couldn’t find the answer.
Anyone has an idea?

I believe that the tags are also protected and restored but i do not currently have my lab setup to be able to test this.
Can you perform an out of place restore test and validate if the tags are also restored on the item?

I can’t test as the customer actually want to know before we spend any efforts configuring it. And sadly, I do not have a lab environment with SharePoint and retention tags and all, thus my question.
