metallic server plan creation , while creating plan we get option like this ,
can someone tell what is the advance option does the VM full backup run on weekly, or is it only incremental ? if i need daily incremental and weekly full can disable the advance option select only incremental save it and add one more in the same plan

I believe that option is either for database backups or for the application aware backups that are currently a legacy configuration.
If you want daily incremental backups with the weekly full your best bet is to do the second task and schedule the full and incremental backups accordingly.
+11As Nickalas said, it’s for databases mostly. Under the neath there’s Synthetic Full schedule to control the backup retention, but you cannot control it as user in Metallic console (only support can at this moment). It’s set by default to 30 days.
