It could be nice, when I choose a Restore point to view a summarize of the Exchange On Line mailbox content (size, item count, and so on). It helps to understand, for example, if a user deleted a lot of email from one restore point to another.
It could also help a browsing feature (day by day should help) into Backup Stats for having a quick sight between days.

Thank you

Hi,

Have you tried the additional fields available on the mailbox list?

Active items - active, existing e-mails

Inactive items - not-active, deleted from the mailbox

Hi

Could help, but a view day by day with some key data will be a useful utility :)

Hi Ivan,

believe what you’re asking for is an anomaly-based alert for Exchange mass item deletions (e.g., when the number of deleted items exceeds 70% or the total size surpasses 30 GB). To proceed, you’ll need to reach out to your Customer Success Manager (CSM), describe the issue, and request a Customer Modification Request (CMR). The Commvault team will then evaluate the request from different perspectives and consider implementing it in a future release if deemed beneficial.

Hi Lukas,

yes, I’ve just written to CMR suggesting this feature.
I don't think it's very burdensome because the data to be displayed is already available on Metallic here and there...
It’s very useful for admin having a quick outlook onto data (just only items/mails and even mailbox size) day per day.
Nothing special for Commvault IT :)

Cheers

Most likely you are right, so now you’ll have to wait for CMR to be approved and implemented, usually implementation takes some time. Agree that having anomaly detection for mailbox significant growth or decrease might be beneficial.
