Hi, I have a windows server which is a main file server.  However if i need to restore a file or folder to the original location. I seem to need access permissions to the destination folder.  Is there a specific role or credential that would mitigate against this, and allow my Metallic\Domain  user account to perform the restore please.

Regards

Hi Tony,

in terms of Windows OS level backup and restores it should be local admin. Alternatively in terms of the restore part you can “Impersonate user” in the restore window and provide credentials that can access this path freely.
