Service account is being added to Teams Channels

I configured and activated Teams backups today, I launched the first backup job and I started receiving notifications that my account was being added to different Teams.

I killed the job and it stopped adding but backups also stopped.

How can I prevent this and remove my user?

  • To prevent this, leverage the express configuration and Azure Apps to perform the backups.

Thanks, I was able to follow the steps to remove and configured the apps.

I haven't seen it add any back. Appreciate the help.
