we are using Metallic from quite some time, but for the past few weeks, we have observed that after weekly patches, the backup system breaks down. In most cases, we are unable to perform backup and recovery tasks on Saturday and half of Sunday. Not to mention a set of minor and major glitches that, for example, cause backup jobs to be skipped without any notification for no reason because of a broken backup schedule. Thus, if one doesn’t monitor the backup jobs carefully, one will not even be aware that such a problem exists. During downtime, reporting is also broken in most cases.
Recently due to constant issues it’s difficult to be regulatory compliant using the Metallic SaaS/BaaS platform. What’s even more important, currently we cannot rely on backup system which by design should be our last line of defense.
Where can we expect Metallic platform to be more reliable, stable and quality oriented?
