we would like to backup and restore physical windows clients. Do we need 1-touch server licenses in order to do that?

Thanks for the great question!
1-touch is a feature that is included in the WFS license for any of the new subscription users.
It was an extra cost a long time ago and if your environment is still running the older licensing model I would recommend talking to your accounts team.
You should not have to worry about this license is my understanding and if you are getting errors then accounts team is going to be the place to clear it all up for you.

Sorry for my short hand, WFS is Windows File System. I am referring to any server license you have available for use. I highly recommend having a chat with your account rep when it comes to license usage as they will have the answers specific to your environment.
