Hi Team,

Currenlty i have 30 days Immutable (60 days Lock). i would like to increase to 90 days (180 days lock).DDb created every 90 days. Does below theory is correct and how much storage space i should increase?

New DDB is created every 90 days if immutability sets 90 days. (Full copy each cycle)

Required Total space:
 390 TB x 3 = 1170 TB (180 days lock)

Current space i have 784 TB. should i purchase another 386 TB?

Hi @Raj Balaraj ,

Given your current space of 784 TB, you need to calculate the additional storage required for the new lock period:

  • Required Total Space for 180 Days Lock: 390 TB * 3 = 1170 TB
  • Additional Storage Needed: 1170 TB - 784 TB = 386 TB

Therefore, you should consider purchasing an additional 386 TB to accommodate the increased lock period and immutability settings.

Regards,

Wasim
