In the current Commvault version 10SP15, how can I protect files in the SYSVOL folder located on the DC in an AD domain environment? Are there any related resolution cases? What should I do if the files in the SYSVOL folder on the DC are accidentally deleted? There is only one DC.

Wow V10. Taking me back!

Sysvol is protected as part of system state - make sure system state is selected as part of your file system backup content. The folder will be automatically excluded from regular backups and wont be visible in a regular browse and restore. To restore sysvol captured as part of a system state backup, you need to restore system state out of place and copy the sysvol folders over.

I've got a complete Active Directory backup set. How can I restore the files under SYSVOL?
