Forum|alt.badge.img+7

Hello,

While defining an alert, i want to set the alert token to match “Not applicable”.

Example Virtual Machine name is Not Applicable.

For that do i need to use any specific regex or blank spaces as i t does not work when i use “Not applicable”

Thanks

@Sandy11 ,

No there is not an Alert Token for “Not Applicable” if there is no Virtual Machine name it should be blank when the alert is sent. You have is to edit the body of the Alert Notification an overwrite the token with “Not Applicable”. The only problem there is that if there is a virtual machine name then it will not be recorded. Another option you have is to edit the Alert Notification and remove any not needed information.

Thanks that will not work for my use case.

Another query - “Failed count” token is available for selection on the notification type page of the alert wizard but not on the token criteria selection page. Any idea why?

@Sandy11 ,

I would need to check with the developers on that.
