Selective online full will have both data and logs (assuming the subclient content, you have selected both data and logs), so you can (should) be able to do a full restore and recovery from that job type. 

I wouldn’t expect this to be an issue however note without backup copying the data, you have no redundancy if there is an issue on the filer.

Would also suggest testing a restore to ensure it meets your business requirements.

Apart from what @Chris Hollis  had mentioned you will have other limitations if you do not perform backup copies for example Oracle duplicate db is not supported from Snap job, you need RMAN backup copy

Thanks for all the information. These are non prod backups so client only needs snapshot.
