We have configured Network Share backup for FSx and would like to somehow detect if permissions for the credential we use are removed from folder and files in that folder are not protected any more. What we found in testing that Full backup gives an error if it encounters a folder with no permissions but Incremental or Diff not. Any ideas?

Hello
In incremental backups, it will only backup the changes. You can check “view backed up items” in the successful incremental backups and see if the files with permission issues are backed up or not.
In the full backup, it has to backup everything, if the folder/file does not have a valid ownership, it will be failed to backup with the error (Access is denied).
