Hi team,

A customer is performing the aux copy using Azure BLOB Cool storage as a target.

(Source storage for 1st copy is DAS and Target storage is Azure BLOB Cool storage)

Can customer change the BLOB storage tier type to Hot without any issue?

Thanks.

Hello,

The customer can change the storage tier on the Azure Cool bucket to Hot storage. They would need to follow this guide.

Permanently Moving Data Between Microsoft Azure Storage Tiers - https://documentation.commvault.com/11.26/expert/143778_permanently_moving_data_between_microsoft_azure_storage_tiers.html

Thank you,
