Hi Guys,

During an Azure VM Restore I noticed the VMs post restore gets powered on and shutdown even after the “Do not power on the virtual machine post restore” option is unchecked while restore.

Why it happens ?

Is it specific to Azure VMs only or this is same behavior for all the VM restores.

Regards,

Hi, This Azure side limitations.  When a Virtual machine is deployed, it gets powered on by default. Once the VM is deployed successfully, we (CommVault) power it off. Azure is currently not giving any option to deploy the VM without powering it on. This is specific to Azure.
