Azure side Immutability and Worm copy from Commvault

Do we have to enable the worm copy from Commvault side to have the backups stored on the Azure immutable containers with Deduplication that will be sealed in a set of intervals?

@Kavya - Good day! 

 

Yes, kindly enable worm else, CV will try to micro prune the data i.e., we will send the delete request periodically when the data met the retention and deletion will fail due to the storage side immutability is enabled.

Just a follow up question,

We can just enable the worm copy check box on the storage policy level, right?

Do we need to create any storage pools to have the pruning?

I’m looking also for WORM copy and I thing the recommended way to enable WORM Storage is through Enable WORM Storage workflow:
