We have a Linux server with SAP HANA, Simpana Backup Struck on 5 % on Scanning Directory hana/shared/…, Pls help

I would recommend looking at the File scan log on the client to see what it is doing.
0-5% is going to be where the file scan is occurring and if you have a directory with millions of items its going to take a while to scan that.
If you are unable to find anything i would recommend a support ticket to investigate this issue.
