Best practices NDMP backup with large small files

Hello,

 

I am trying to NAS backup with NDMP agent but when i am running incr backup its taking to long or de backup faile. The volume have more then 14M small files. 

 

What is best practice to backup it? Intellisnap maybe?

And what is about iops and ms performance, because i tested out file scan phase my iops went to 8k instead of 800 and ms to 30 instead of 3
