As per Oracle Support document

Converting An Enterprise Edition Database To Standard Edition (Doc ID 139642.1)

The only way to properly convert from an Enterprise Edition back to a Standard Edition is through an Export/Import operation

Hi @riski.pe

I asked one of my colleges whom seems to an Oracle geek :-) He says “No you can’t”. You basically have to do an export / import into a new DB. The other other way around, though, is easy he says…. what ever he means by this :-)   So if this isn’t possible (or supported) within Oracle itself, I’m sure Commvault won’t be able to do this either..

Have a great day..

Kind regards

Rubeck
