Can't see or change to one of our storage policies in subclients

Running version 11.24.116

Hi,

We’ve changed storage policy for some sql subclients. Now we can’t see the other storage policy we changed from. In the Storage Policy tab of Properties window.
We also checked other subclients with the second storage policy set from start. The first storage policy can’t be seen there either.

Is it a setting somewhere or is it a bug in 11.24.116?

Hi @PatricG,

I cannot find any issues regarding Storage Policy.

Is this from Java or Command Center GUI, or both?

You can update to 24.121 or log a case with Support and we would check.

Best Regards,

Sebastien

Hi Sebastien,

It’s from the Java console.
I’ve managed to find the SQL Instances in the Command Center. But I can only change the Data Storage Policy and Log Storage Policy to the same policy. We do have different policies for the two.
I’d like to change the Log Storage Policy at the same time to another policy.

And I don’t see the the second Storage Policy for the Log Storage Policy (In Java Console). So then I can’t choose that one. After changing the Storage Policy for the subclient.

@PatricG

Can you see if your previous storage policy is deleted by any chance? If it is still around you should be able to see it in the drop down list.

Thanks,

Sunil

Yes, I can still se the Storage Policy under Storage Policy in Java Console.
Even after refreshing.

But, I just noticed a smal round red sign with a slash through it on the symbol. When checking the properties of the Storage Policys again It says at the bottom

With a checkbox above to allow it for another 30 days….
With a checkmark in the box it works again from the Java Console.
Though I still don’t know how to make the same changes in the web gui…

Many thank’s for taking time to help me!
