Change CommServce host name from UNIX or LINUX Client

Hi,

How I can edit the CommServe host name from the client? I have reinstalled this many times. At first it listed a correct CommServe hostname. After 5-10 mins, a “_Disabled_” appeared before the correct CommServe host name.

Take note that we’re on managed services. And this is an internal issue after the installation. I hope someone can help me and this will also resolve my future installations.

I found the path: /etc/CommVaultRegistry/Galaxy/Instance001/CommServe/

Edit the file .properties
