Change default Filter for File Archiver

Forum|alt.badge.img+6

Hi all,

we have a customer that wants to archiv the Fileserver from his software development deparment.

They have a lot of files and also a lot .EXE and .DLL Files laying around, related to different projects.

According to the documentation, *.EXE and *.DLL are filtered by default.

https://documentation.commvault.com/2022e/expert/25799_windows_file_system_archiving.html

Is there a Key or Setting to change this Filter to include .EXE and .DLL to the archive data?

There is no way to set this to exclude these files.  They are excluded by default as archiving them could break applications or have other negative impact.
