Hi,

Has anyone come across a quarantine issue on commvault files by checkpoint endpoint antivirus ? It seems like the files are not signed hence, they are recognized by checkpoint as malware or other menaces. If so, how have you been able to work around it?

Regards.

Hello @Elmahdi Achraf

May I know if you have the exclusions in the AV for Commvault?

Hi @Elmahdi Achraf ,

I checked your question and it looks like the Anti-virus exclusions as recommended by Commvault documents are not placed.

you could check the below articles on Antivirus Exclusions and add the Commvault recommanded folders/services in Exclusion list:

Antivirus Exclusions for Windows
https://documentation.commvault.com/2023e/essential/8665_antivirus_exclusions_for_windows.html

Recommended Antivirus Exclusions for UNIX and Mac

Please feel free to Report any issue if you face any Security Vulnerability:

in case there is a need for you to verify exclusions are in place , you could do so by running Process Monitor https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/procmon against Commvault Folders/Executables.
