Client to Plan Association App not working

We are currenty migrating our environment to plans and I wanted to make it easier to assign all our workloads to plans with the above mentioned app.

I did import the app successful and the report is working fine until i hit the “associate plan” button which does nothing.

No error, no progress indicator or anything else.

I tried it with different groups, agent types and plans but nothing seems to work even after waiting for some time.

So I was wondering: Are there any prerequisites for this app to work or is it not compatible with 11.36?

I noticed the same in FR36. So I also tested it in FR32 where it works very nicely. I already have informed development about this. So I hope they can change the App for FR36 soon.

I never used it and was wondering what the difference is between this separate app and the built-in plan rules capability. Based on your input it seems it can create a report and this is somewhat missing in the plan rules in where you ideally have a plan execution options that allows you to see the changes that it will executed. I also raised a CMR for plan rules to be enhanced as such that plan rules will actually become a plan policy that allows users to orchestrate the assignment of plans to workloads full stop, because right now plan rules are executed once. So, if you make a mistake then you will have to correct it manually or for example through a script.

I was looking at plan rules as well but noticed really quickly that they are not suitable for migrating from schedule/storage policies as they only apply the assignment for new clients without a storage policy.

While researching for plans I also noticed your CMR regarding the enhancement for plan rules and this would really be a nice addition for managing and adjusting assignments at scale.
So if there is any option to vote for this as a customer I would be happy to support (I have no experience with CMRs until now).
