We found a few clients that did not have a plan so we were not getting a message that it was
missing backups. Is there a report that would give us this info? or is there a way to know?

The Data Protection report may also assist with identified the last completed backup: https://cloud.commvault.com/webconsole/softwarestore/#!/135/660/25499
