Hey there everyone!

Does anyone have suggestions on how to go about working around an ISP issue where the 5th or 6th hop out to the internet (from the datacenter) is dropping packets and causing the backup to cloud storage to fail?

We’ve tried adjusting chunk size and retry intervals, but it still seems to be hard to get the data through before the entire job fails.

Any help would be appreciated. The amount of backup data would be around 4TB for a full.

Thanks!

Is this a backup directly to cloud, or a secondary copy to cloud?

Are you leveraging deduplication to minimise the amount of data needing to be sent?

It’s directly to cloud. No dedupe configured.
