Commcell Console Report with Error 404

Upgrade to Commvault v11.44.25


I have a Commserver/Metrics Reporting server in one box.  I have upgraded from v11.36.123 to v11.44 25
after upgrading, when I generate a CommCell console report from my jumpbox which happens to have the CommCell console installed I get an
error code 404 on the report generated

Running the CommCell console report inside the Commserver is no issue. Reports generated but in Commserver it presents it as a folder path rather than http/s

Also the report gets generated both ways as I can see the html file generated in the < Commvault install folder>/Reports/CommcellConsoleReport

Any advice is appreciated

It appears the upgrade changes a few things

As the HTML report is generated successfully and opens on the CommServe, this appears to be related to the URL or IIS configuration used to serve the report remotely.

 

Please verify:

  • The Sending report URL in scheduleReport.log.
  • The hostname, protocol, and port are reachable from the jump box.
  • The IIS Reports virtual directory points to <Commvault install path>\ContentStore\Reports.
  • The generated URL uses the correct /Reports/CommcellConsoleReport/ path.
  • If HTTPS is enforced, IIS has a valid HTTPS binding and the same protocol and port are configured for the CommCell Web Server.

If the issue persists, please open a Commvault Support case with the commserve logs and CSDB uploaded along with the generated URL.
