hey everyone I wanted to ask if I can move the default location for a restore (before it moves the data further) ?

Just so I can understand - as an example - you’d like the default path to be something like c:\temp whenever you browse/restore?

If so I am not aware of an option to do that - the restore destination has to be determined each time you run a restore. If you are running frequent restores you could script/workflow the restore with typical options you would pick.

hey thanks for the feedback.

For example, with a filerestore it loads data into the jobresults directory and then to the target location. I wanted to customize the process so that it does not move the data to the jobresults directory thought there might be an additional setting that would allow me to change the location.
