Hello all,

Do you have experience with Commvault Cloud Air Gap Protect storage with multiple containers?
For example if I have 40TB total space, what will happen if I will create 3 libraries, how available space will be distributed between all 3 libraries. Will it be dynamically assigned, or strictly 40/3 = 13,3 TB for each?

Hi @AndresL

In Commvault Cloud Air Gap Protect, the total storage space is based on the total purchased capacity. When you create multiple containers, the sum of all containers will equal the purchased capacity. The available free space is distributed among the libraries based on their usage, and this distribution is recalculated every 24 hours or whenever a library reaches its allocated capacity. Therefore, the space is dynamically assigned rather than being strictly divided equally among the libraries.
