CV to backup single mysql database

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

I want to backup a single mysql db to CV, but the backup dialog window  doesn’t have an option for me to select which db to backup.

It seems that CV will backup all the mysql databases from the db server.

Can anyone help?

@CharlesKwan  another method that you can try is to log into the Command Center and under Protect/Databases, there is the ability to back up individual databases.

Let me know if this is helpful.

Hi @CharlesKwan , welcome to the community!!

You should be able to create a separate subclient and define only the one database:

https://documentation.commvault.com/11.24/expert/116447_creating_subclient_for_mysql_databases.html

Let me know if that provides what you seek!
