Database operations - Can see backup logs but not restore logs

Greetings all,

I’m the DBA and not the commvault admin.  We have access to view our backup logs across the board with zero issues, but we are getting a permission denied when trying to view logs from our restore operations.  We absolutely need the latter.  Our commvault admins aren’t sure where to check.

What permission might we be missing and where to check?

Thanks! - Chris

@Chris Newman  good day!
as per issue “permission denied when trying to view logs from our restore operations.”
please help us understand the issue details, if possible attach screenshot of error seen.
Is it operation performed from commcell GUI where error is thrown or from SQL server end.

Hi,

It’s on the commvault side and happens for any SQL database restore operation.  Again, we can see all database backup job logs, just not restores.

Hi Sujay - We’ve confirmed those permissions are correct but are still having issues.  We’ve submitted a ticket on the issue.  Thanks!
