Hello!

We have a site that is being decomissioned and I need to work a bit on it’s backups.

The site is using a derivated stg plan.

Usually when I do this I remove the schedule from the client in the java conole but since this is part of a plan I am not able to do that. So instead I went into Command Center and dissacotiated the client from the plan. It works, no more schedule, however when I look at the client and the default subclient, the destination storage policy is gone (from java console).
Doing a browse for backup history I see the history. To me it seems odd and a bit missleading.

My next step is to promote the secondary copy to primary and delete the former primary copy and library. Only way I can see this done is from the Java console, or is there a way to do it in Command center?

hi @Henke

Kindly refer below document to promote secondary copy as primary from command center

Hello @Pradeep, thanks for the answer.

However I don’t have that option to do the promote in command center, see below.

Remember this is a derivated plan if that is of importance.

@Henke Derived plan will be using base plan for further configuration.
Is it same for other plans as well. can we verify details for rest of the plans in the system.

@Pradeep All plans are the same, doesent matter if they are derivated or base plans.

Can I do the promotion in java console instead? As I need to get it done.
