Deleted jobs, but Total Data Size on Disk is not freed

Hello,

In order to recover space, some days ago I deleted all jobs from one Storage Policy Copy, but I don’t see the data has been deleted from the local disk library, and when I check the forecast report there are no pending deletions.

I have run a DDB Space reclaim job with Clean Orphan Data selected, I have waited a day before rechecking again, but there are no changes.

Any ideas on how I can reclaim and recover this space?

(Or if it is a matter of time, how long should I wait? Could I check the delection process status?)

Thanks in advance.

The Dedupe store, associated with that SP is holding valid data.

Not to be confused with Jobs.
Jobs are just a representation of blocks of data specific to that job.
But they are made up of unique blocks held in the “store”, with the store being the unique blocks for an entire GDSP, not just an SP.

Is your SP part of a wider GDSP?

No, the GDSP only has one SP.
How can Total Application Size be 0 and Total Data Size on Disk be greater?

Not sure about that quirk.

Do you have any active jobs writing to that SP\ GDSP?

If you a forecst report for that SP, what does it say about jobs in that SP?
What does view jobs through the SP Copy show you, or better still the GDSP?
