We have a physical system that we will eventually move to virtual platform. But - i dont want to try to do anything to this system until ihave a disk image backup. How would one take a disk image backup and point it to our media agent.
Im familiar with the bare metal recovery process but curious how to take the backup. Is it just the system state?
Physcal system backups are not my strongpoint.
