Hello All,

Does having the ~ key in folder name hide the folder from being backed up? For example “~new folder”. I am looking at doing a restore of a file in a folder that has that character in the name.

Thanks!

Hello @Aspiroff93

It would depend on the iDataAgent you are using, but you can start with this guide that explains how to filer content from Subclients of the Windows Filesystem and Unix\Linux Filesystem Agents.

Thank you,
